Information: Due to ongoing works on the south-east rampart, the “Jardin d'Orient” (garden-cemetery in homage to members of Abd-el-Kader's retinue) is currently closed to the public.

Enjoy a relaxing moment with a picnic in the château grounds, overlooking the Loire, and an open-air concert! The highlight of the evening will be the presence of Astronomie en Val d’Amboise, who will be there with their telescopes so you can observe the sun and then the moon! Permission to have your head in the clouds granted!

It couldn’t be simpler! Book your tickets on the château’s website, turn up at the château with your picnic, settle down on the lawns and enjoy an evening of music whilst exploring the night sky! A real treat!

At the heart of a season that it has chosen to dedicate to its gardens, the royal castle of Amboise is planning a truly exceptional event this summer of 2025. For the first time, a night in a bivouac will be organized in the very heart of the estate. What if you were one of those who will have the chance to live a unique and unprecedented experience, installed under the stars, in one of the most beautiful settings in the Loire Valley, labeled a Remarkable Garden and ornithological refuge of the League for the Protection of Birds?
The adventure begins at 18:00 p.m., a gentle return to reality the next day at 9:00 a.m.

The price includes:

- Dinner (starter, main course, and dessert) and drinks (including a surprise tasting)
- Support and supervision during the discovery
- Installation and provision of accommodation facilities
- Delivery of a breakfast basket the next morning
- Entry to the castle for a visit the next day

The price does not include:

- Provision of small night equipment (mattress, pillow, duvets, flashlight, etc.)
- Transport to the royal castle of Amboise

During this free stroll, you will also be able to enjoy a musical ambiance in certain rooms of the royal residence.
